1. What we collect

Katalane collects the following information when you use the service:

• Your email address and name (via Google OAuth or email sign-up)
• Product catalog data you upload (Excel files, product images)
• Google Drive folder access tokens, used solely to read and write images to your own Drive
• Usage data: operations created, credits consumed, AI generation history

2. How we use your data

• To operate and deliver the Katalane service (image matching, AI sourcing, export)
• To calculate and display usage-based billing
• To send transactional emails (invitations, password resets)
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your product catalog data to train AI models

3. Google Drive access

Katalane requests read and write access to Google Drive solely to match and export product images on your behalf. Access tokens are stored securely and used only when you initiate an operation. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Supabase Storage, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU region. AI-generated images are stored in Supabase Storage and accessible only to you.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at hello@katalane.com.

6. Cookies

Katalane uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
